FH, I just got a second to sneak in here. Laura always has a big 4th of July deal. So I have been busy with that. However my guys got it covered. The track is an 1/8 mile, so all of these runs would have also been over 200 MPH. Still on course!! 8)

Lippy, there are 2-return roads prior to the legends track. You enter the legends track on turn 4. It is a gentle bend and right along the back straightaway, then round turn 2 and exit the track onto the return road thru turn 1. You are just kind of going around the legends track in reverse so to speak. Your car will be fine.

I have it on good authority,,,,that one can be going 170 MPH, have the chutes not come out, and still make the turn without hitting the back wall by something less than 4-inches. I don't recommend trying this though.

Funny,,,,when it was happening at the time I didn't think 4-inches was all that much at about 60 MPH and seeing that wall right there.

The bad part was I knew who was gonna have to fix the body,,,or what was left of it!!!

ERRR, I mean the guy who told me that,,,he said that,,,yeah,,,that's that ticket!!

That guys chutes worked about 19 times of test launching in the shop.

The real funny part,,,,aftet "that guy" made it around the corner, and was back on the main return road,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the CHUTES fell out of the pack onto the ground!!

We trimmed about a 1/16 of an inch more off the chute cable, problem solved.

Randy, I understand completely about the chutes popping out on the ground AFTER the run! Reminds me of WILEY COYOTE hitting the ground face first, he lays there a second,...then....poof, the chute pops out on the ground!
