Wish I was there. Sounds peaceful. Sitting here with nude statues, the NBA finals on my little TV, and Sabbath whining to get out, get in, get out, etc...just finished reading The DaVinci Code...weird but interesting, kind of educational, actually. Wife is upstairs moving stuff around. She switched closets with me; hope the skeletons don't rattle out...WC1

Just started reading it myself the other day. Wish I hadn't have seen any of the movie trailers now - If I go to the movie and Tom Hanks' character is not that Langdon guy it'll be too confusing to watch.

Returned from the Hot Rod Reunion yesterday and today traveling the senic route. Wish I had XM as only two stations came in on parts of the trip. Pretty country, no cell towers, hardly any radio, didn't hear any banjos as I kept traveling at all times??????????????

Johnny Winter / Anthology CD. Playing now? Highway 61 Revisited - IMO one of the best guitar players of all time.....

He is, no doubt...and his version of Highway 61 Revisited is great...his slide guitar playing was light years ahead of the pack back then...he's still around these parts, plays a gig here and there every now and then, but nowadays he has to sit down when he plays and he needs to be guided because he's totally blind now...but I've heard he can still shake those strings as good as ever...
I think Tom Hanks does play Langdon in the movie...I'll wait for the DVD to come out and save a buck or two...good book...the Langdon character came across to me as more of a Tom Skerritt-type guy, so the movie oughta be interesting...WC1
