new christmas hat.... um yea, that must be it  i got the truck done today, it runs FREAKIN AWESOME!!!! if i had to guess at the power output i'd say 450-500 hp, this thing rips for a 4x4!! i take off and make it about 30-40 feet and the boost needle jumps to 10psi (i've got the boost controller turned all the way down right now) and about half the time it'll smoke the tires, i even had to pedal it when i put in second once :D the crazy think about it is, that this truck runs as good on the turbo as the racecar did on motor  i can't wait to make the first hit with the nitrous ( in 4 wheel drive of course ) as it will eliminate any and all turbo lag 8) i have a sneaking suspicion that i will be making a few dollars in a street race or two with this old pile. i'm hoping to get it to the dyno next weekend and get an actual power#, make sure the tune up is good and start cranking up the boost

i read the plugs today and they look very very happy. tyler is bringing his video camera tomorrow and he says he'll post a video for us 8) since it seems to be happy i think i'm going to give the boost knob a few clicks before the video  more to come.

also thanks jim, i'll assume you mean that as a compliment, cause that's how i read it 8)

we made a video after work today with tyler riding shotgun, man that thing runs out of road in a hurry! we went into a 4 wheel drift braking to keep from running off the end of the street  just waiting for tyler to post it now, btw, i looked at the plugs again and they look better than they ever did n/a, to be honest i figured it'd just blow up, this motor used 2 1/2 quarts of oil per week making a 30 mile round trip per day. anybody want to start a pool on how long it'll last?
