Well I have been absent from the boards for a while but I am pretty sure at this writing that I should be there with my car and a couple others from our area... looking forward to seeing all the good folks from here.

Tom,
I have been a slug. Vette isn't fixed. I asked Scott about bringing the Nitro Madness car and he thought it would be apart at that time. I told him and the guys to come to the event anyway.
The Nanook AA/FA will be back in Vegas, and I don't believe the Plastic Fantastic Nitro funnycar will be around either.
So you just get Laura, Chic {the dog}, and me as far as I know.

Cars are great but good folks is even better so with just you guys being there will make it a good weekend along with everyone else that shows up...I am in the middle of painting my car, now then I have to put the heads back on it so it will be ready to go when I get there...

Tom,
Sure hope you make it and bring lots of friends.
I have great hopes for a really fun day, what with draglist, Des Moines Dragway, nostalgia top fuel and other nostalgia cars all being there.
I'm hoping to go to a nostalgia get together at Mid America Motorplex in Pacific Junction Iowa tomorrow, but Mother Nature has been really rough here the last couple of weeks. Over 10 inches of rain in 12 days.
We had tornado winds within 7 miles of us just last night and spent an hour in the basement around midnight.

I might bring 3 or 4 other cars they will let me know in a week if they are coming.and for door slammers they are pretty quick.
