While all Saturday's on-track activities were cancelled due to "oppressive" heat, come Sunday, the weather was still hot, but not as "oppressive" as it was on Saturday, so the event was able to happen... I had a good time... Thanks to DragList's own Jack Redd for taking the time to share some of his "Broadway Freddy" stories with me-- Us folks are plenty thankful 'round these parts that the NOSTALGIA SUMMERNATIONALS, DRAG RACING UNDERGROUND DVDs, and even yours truly are now all "JACK APPROVED"-- It's truly a prestigious honor in the drag racing world, and we are most appreciative to have Jack's official, and extremely sought after seal of approval... Congrats are definitely in order for Walter Frey and the entire E-Town staff for putting so much effort into making the 32nd Annual E-Town NOSTALGIA SUMMERNATIONALS work as well as it did... The "422 All Stars" S/S circuit were a big hit, as were the East Coast Gassers, Funny Cars, and N.E.T.O. car club... It really was a great time for all... I give my take of the event in today's and yesterday's blog-- I put a link to it below... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...
Today's Blog... E-TOWN NOSTALGIA SUMMERNATIONALS A SUCCESS DESPITE THE HEAT... YOU ALL PROVED THAT IT TRULY REMAINS THE PREMIER NOSTALGIA DRAG RACING HAPPENING OF THE EAST...
