Are we staying in two different places? Canton and Salem [Lima] Or am I just getting confused?

I believe that is a possibility according to Jack. If the gang likes it. Canton / Cleveland area, to sight see "ROCK & ROLL" hall of fame, and the Amish places Jack suggested and such. - Then move to Salem / or North Lima area for the weekend for the race.

Or we could settle in to Salem/Lima area and commute to the sight seeing, if it's not too far. These things will be worked out, as we are already planning a "FACT" finding mission this summer.

EDIT: OOPS !! I was on page 4 and didn't see that Jack had already answered.......my bad. But yes, Jack & us will work together on this and give details soon so as our flying folks can book early to get the best price.

Lodging has been confirmed to be in Canton, Ohio for DLN 2017. What location is not set yet but will be taken care of early this coming year. Motels are hesitant to book that far out so I will have to wait. I am going to try and get us in the two year old digs just south of Canton but we will see.

Itinerary is going to be set at that time also so people can tour with us as to the days they will be arriving. We will set up alternate places for everyone to see so if they want to tour on their own.

Our goal is to show you the best time available in the limited time we have together.

Can't hardly type correctly as I am listening to Joe Bonamassa with the volume cranked till the windows are shaking. Whew!!!!!

Yes, there was a HIGH level meeting, as Jack stated. The Michigan and Ohio chapters had a sit down, security was tight. Many subjects were discussed.
After comparing logistics CANTON Ohio is the base of operations for 2017. It is central to both sight seeing, and the track. Another meeting is already in the planning.

Last night Sharon and I stopped at an Amish restaurant to eat supper. See below. Food was excellent, buffet had oodles of goota stuff and had a view of the country side overlooking the Amish farms. We thought it would be a nice place to hold our Friday night dinner party or do we still want to do a steak house?
