Milan Dragway in Milan, Michigan will be hosting the Battle of the Jets on Saturday July 18th, 2009. Come and watch some the fastest street cars in the Holbrook Racing Engines Saturday Shootout series and also the 300mph jet dragsters and trucks flying down the track. Gates will open at 11am and we will be running throughout the whole night. Tickets are $20 per spectator and kids 12 & under get in free! Fore more info go to:

This Saturday, the 8th, will be the August N2O Outlaw race at Pittsburgh Raceway Park. Heads-up, Pro Tree 1/8th mile racing for the quickest 8 cars. Two time trial sessions at 4:00 & 6:00, then eliminations at 7:00. Nitrous, turbo, blown or all motor are welcome.

Holders Heating and Air presents the Chuy’s Fuel Altered Classic Sept. 19th at Auto Club Famoso Raceway.
Featured nitro cars include Greg Daebelliehn “Fast N Forty”, James Generaloa “Impatient Racing”, Vince Generaloa “Nanook”, Ron Hope “Rat Trap”, Craig Michaels “Vegas Heat”, Ron Maroney “Shark Attack”, Chris Bennett “Pure Heaven” and Keith Wilson “Kaos Racing”.
The alcohol cars of Jim Maroney “Blind Faith”, Dale Boomgaarten (ran 6.50 last year), Austin Frye, George Johns, Dave Ward “Dinosaur” and Gil Valencia will also be making runs.
This years race will be ran in conjunction with the Lucas Oil Div. 7 race with spectators getting in for free after 3:00pm Sat. Altereds are scheduled to run at 6:30 and 9:30.
Also Thursday the 17th we will have our annual prerace kickoff party and display at Chuy’s on Rosedale beginning at 5:00. We will have a live radio remote and live TV coverage plus food and drink specials. There will be plenty of Altereds on site plus we will have a few fire up for TV. Usually a pretty neat deal!
Additional sponsors include Budweiser, Monster Energy Drink, Chancellor Oil Tool and Tejon Indian Tribe.
