i didn't make too good of a showing yesterday, i was coming off of the line at about 1/4 throttle to keep the tires from spinning, actually my best 60ft was 2.56  then it melted 4 plug wires off at about 800 feet, still went 13.60@105 with a stock 350 though. it was also popping out the exaust pretty bad, i think it needs some more timing still. i was also having fuel distribution problems, one plug had some aluminum on it, two were black as coal, two were white, and the rest looked just right, so i'm just going to put the fuel injection on and that should fix that problem, i developed an oil leak and couldn't try it with another 2-3 degrees of timing, i'm sure that would've fixed the popping though. also the car will MELT the tires in 2nd even on the track, i just eased out one time till it was in second and stepped on it, it wheelhopped so bad i couldn't see my tach  it is definatley making some power for a stck 350, BUT I WANT MORE

Wow, sounds like a few more tweaks and the old girl will be hauling for ya.

I met a 10.5 car guy with twin turbos out when I was driving Virgil's car. He is running Alky and wants to put some Nitro in it. He called last night from the track and we made a couple of changes. But it was too late to make another hit. He is to call today if they get to run. 8)

i figured out the popping today, it turns out the car wasn't charging so the ignition wasn't getting enough power, i didn't realize this because the guy helping me left the key on after we towed the car back (trying to get a good reading on the plugs) so i changed it before the 2nd pass, i hooked up my battery charger today when the car wouldn't start, and after it charged a couple of hours i started the car and switched the charger over to the engine start setting, then did a 6500rpm brakestand through all 3 gears at 10 psi, smooth as silk.

then i had to roll out of the car and run away, because like a big dummy i did it with the door open, and couldn't see or breathe
