i made it back to the track yesterday, the car showed a marked improvement over the last time out, i'm still only running 10psi.

.8499
1.7250 60ft
4.9175 330ft
7.6100 1/8
91.24 1/8 mph
9.9616 1000ft et
103.16 1000ft mph

i guess that ain't bad for a stock 350 :P i lost the belt on the last pass, and the car got pretty hot, good thing it's a $300 engine, there's a lot to be said for not having to care about your engine, but i think those days are going to be short lived as i've got my crankshaft ordered now, and the new motor shoud be done in 4-6 weeks. i'm pretty sure i can get really low 10's, maybe even 9's with the new setup after all the experimenting i've done with the beater motor. 8)

i'm having a ton of fun with this old piece of junk, i towed my car up to the track yesterday and entered trophy eliminator yesterday because it cost me $15 to watch, or the same $15 got me in and my car entered into a class, so i got to make 3 time runs, and the car had been going 10teens, but they sprayed the track just prior to our class, so i just wiped the 0 off of my 10.00 dial in as i was afraid it might run pretty close to that, and i was running one of my friends, so i put a 1 where the 0 was, long story short, i ran 9.96 on an 11.00 dial :D the announcers had a bunch of fun ribbing me about it, and my friend that i ran 1st round went on to win the class, and i got to hang out with some other friends in lawn chairs and bs and watch some shootout racing 8) it was a great night over all, i'm going back up to race a new true radial class next friday night, and jim if you're ever down this way let me know ahead of time, and we'll hang out.
