nice ride vic ! the pictures are great as being as old as they are ( after being put on the cd of course) I like how they cut the windscreen for the injector setup and the detail they put into the car .

Thanks wheelz,..
I saved all the paint chips from the grille
when I repainted it a few months back,..and when I recieved
these pics and saw the that shot of the chevy logo/ Veney Vega,
I ran out to the trailer and found that paint chip/ chips and sure
a sh*t there it was,..conformation,..I think so, I am so fortunate
to have this car it is rediculous,..it may not be 100% period correct
right at this moment, because I want to go play,..But,..I will
be restoring it back to its originality in color and chrome etc,...
sometime after mid season,..????

Thanks again
Vic

Wow,..I cant believe how long its not been since ive updated the progress
on my Vega funny car,..
As of right now I will take delivery of my 7 gallon moon bullit fuel tank that bolts right in to the original bolt holes that were left in the fram, I sold the 2 disc clutch and lenco tranny and purchased a nice powerglide and converter to replace the issues of maintnance and clutch adjusting.
I have an original B&M shifter on its way next week to put into the car exactly were it was before, firebottle on its way,..I am currently working on the dog house and firewall to accomodate the oversized MAG and injector stacks,..battery is mounted and have begun to wire what little wiring is required, I still need a diaper and a couple of fuel lines. Today i took a set of early cragars 16x14 and mounted up a set of alcohol good years 36 X 17.5 X 16 to see if that size tire would fit just incase I need a little taller gearing, and it will help load the motor,..there is so much room I could put super swampers under it. My goal right now is to have the car ready to take to Pacific Raceways on june 27-28 to test the whole deal out. If I am not ready by then I wont be able to run the car until and after august 17th. I plan on getting the car to go A to B on 30-40%, establish an E.T. then tear the whole car down,..repaint chassis, re-chrome all parts that should be,.and paint the girl back to red sporting the Veneys Vega logos,..and then see what I can do with it finacially,...So any who a little progress,..not much,..Ive been to busy being part of a kick ass top alcohol funny car team winning races and going for the divisional championship,..We are racing this weekend again at Woodburn Dragstrip in oregon before we head out on the road for 2 1/2 months..
so anywho,..thats whats been going on.
heres a pic of the Big tire car,..needs a blower,..dang thought i had one at some point,...lmao.
