Thanks everyone. It sure is nice to make a little progress.

Lippy, The old rear end was a floater also. It was just wore out. This new Strange steel housing is nice. Much better than the old junkyard housing that's in there now. It's also braced much better, inside and out.

I've got 2 more trailers to do.

If not I've got 11 total to do (well I've got 9 left as of now). So, I'll be in town more than just tomorrow.

If the storm we are getting now, reaches you tomorrow I hope your trailer work is inside. The wind is blowing 30-mph and the snow we are getting is making it a white out most of the time.

They have shut I-80 West from Des Moines to Omaha, and I-35 from Ames to Minn.

It was like driving a fuel altered all the way home. It was skating around and any time you gave it gas it lite-em-up like a AA/Fueler. If you touched the brakes,,,you got to slide and pick up speed, coupled with the fact the snow made it so you couldn't see for up to a block at a time.

Fun for me,,,felt "NORMAL" but nobody else seemed to be having any fun with it!!!

It was in the 40's here today. Sounds like snow might be in the near future though. Then back to 40's next week.
