My boss' son will be the leading actor in an upcoming play at St. Thomas High School here in Houston. For the last 3 plays since I started at GRI, I have made the playbills, programs and tickets for the St. Thomas plays. I did Neil Simon's "Fools", Meredith Willson's "The Music Man" and now this one. The director there, Dan Green and myself have become friends and when the plays come up that he'll be directing, we have fun with it. Today I made the playbill for "The Man Who Came To Dinner", from 1939, by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. The 1942 movie had Bette Davis in it. It's a comedy. Here's the story on the play, and here's the playbill I made at Gurrola Reprographics today. It was a refreshing change of pace...boss loved it...Life is good. Cheers, WC1
