Just got back from dinner. Too late for hot tubs or presents or anything... just time for Family Guy on TV and bedtime... Dinner was great with Bandit, Pro70Z28 and his wife Cheryl, and eventually... ROCKY! We had a great time talking and eating pizza, chicken wings, and other good stuff. Cheryl, Denise, and Emily occupied one end of the table and Gary, Jim, Jason, and I were at the other end talking 'guy drag racing talk.' Great to see everyone and we'll get to see all but Rocky at the draglist nats!!! bp

Sweet, Laura and I had dinner with Mr and Mrs Pro60 right here in the big town of Waukee.
Sounds like a great weekend in the plans!!

Great Meetin' Bill & Family. It was a ''cool'' night. Litterally.
A/C works wonderfully.
Good to see the Bandito tonight too. I think the last time was Seneca 2 yrs. ago. I bump into Rocky every once in awhile being close to the center of .....
We decided to take I-55 home (Bridge construction work) and sailed right through. On the way up it was backed up for miles.
Depending on how things shake out tomorrow we "should" be @ the Comfort Inn somewhere between 8- 10 pm.
ALERT: Oh OH, I promised Doc. Pics. and forgot again

See you there, Gary. That's right -- the A/C in the restaurant was on MEAT LOCKER... it felt so good to step outside into the warm summer night... then the hotel room was the same cool setting... had to turn that sucker down, too. bp

It was a great time. Perfect warm up(?) for the weekend. It was really good to see BP, Gary and Rocky again. Nice to meet Denise, Jason, Emily and Cheryl. It was a bit chilly in the restaurant, but the time flew by! Bench racin is every bit as quick as the track stuff!!! Pickin up the Mac man about 10 am and then off to Eddyville!
