70....you can bolt those lumynum seats directly to the floor (providing there is a frame rail underneath...OR tabs placed for that purpose) utilizing 4 (minimum) 3/8ths bolts in the bottom and at least one through the back, into the funny car cage.....(I/we usually go into the same bar behind the seat that the harnesses will attach to)

Sounds good. Should be an easy switch then. I have tubes welded in the chassis for the seats that have mounting holes drilled in them (with sleeves welded in mounting holes). I should be good to go.

Ekkk. I just delivered the signs. Saw a few drops of oil on the garage floor, truck stall, about were the rear end is. (I seem to be on a rear end kick these days, no pun intended). I found a plastic bag wrapped around the rear U-joint and the rear end seal is leaking. :?:  :?:

You don't spoz' that plastic bag coulda' got under the seal ?? It was only about a month ago I was under the truck to replace the flex plate and it was dry as a bone then. Looks like another project looming.. :(

Chicks dig that heavy aroma of 90wt gear oil!

I would suggest wallowing around in a bunch of it while you are changing the rear end parts. I know Laura was sure proud of the Gear Lube odor when I changed gears in the Vette, just before cleaning up and going to a wedding of our friends.

She loved it,,,I am sure of it! :D

WOW, it iz' a small world after all.
I gotta change a rear seal
Got a Wedding shower to go to Sunday

Except for the fact that it's a seal insead of gears.
.....and it's a truck instead of a Vette.
...and it's a shower instead of a wedding.
it's......well..........it's uncanny how simillar that is. :D :D :D

Then there's the wife lovin' the 90wt. Hey, that might be a way to get some shop time ........ since I'd problee' be banished to the shop.
