i just got off the phone with george ray himself, and i have permission to camp at the track saturday night

it would be hard for me to be any more excited about going down there, one of my friends that's been helping me with the car is going with me, he's never made a pass down a dragstrip in his life, so i'm going to let him make a lap in my car, how cool would it be to have made your first pass there?

I was trying to explain to Don, Bill and Derek what you have put together while we were sitting around the pits saturday.....they are all JEGS catolog shoppers...

most people are doc, it's cool to raise the hood of my old heap, and watch people gather 3 deep around the car to marvel at the pvc intake ductwork, it's getting hard for me to get to the car to work on now that i've outran a couple of the local hitters, and the car is rapidly gaining a reputation. i'm dropping off all of the parts for the new engine at the machine shop in the morning, so it won't be long untill i make some REAL power with this thing.

and i'm just being a friend to the guy that helps me with my car, he was the only one that was under the hood with me when all the people around here still just thought that i was crazy, they all want to be a part of it now that we're kicking a little ass, but can all go p*ss up a rope and climb it as far as i'm concerned, i know who my friends are.
