What's on the Jukebox?

Here's where we go to kick back after the races with our pals. Pour a tall one, punch a few buttons on the jukebox, and relax...

Yes / Tales From Topographic Oceans. One of my favorite albums but you have to have it REALLY LOUD to appreciate the keyboard genius.

Been back into the vinyl for the past few days. Right now it's Led Zepplin / Houses of the holy - this is the fifth of their albums we've had on the turntable today.

That was my favorite Zep album...great stuff on it...I've had live hardcore metal being played in the garage for the last 2 hours. Heck, I even went in and jammed a little with 'em. Played some stuff I wrote in the 80s and also threw in "Voodoo Chile" and "Downer" by Kaptain Kopter and the Twirly Birds from the early 70s (Randy California and Ed Cassidy, post-12 Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus and pre-Spirit of 76)...those kids jumped all over it, but they play so fast and so loud it becomes a blur...they're smiling. Fine with me, sure beats 'em going out and looking for trouble. Cheers, WC1

Kaptain Kopter! Talk about an album of playing the phone book and making it sound fantastic! California and Cassidy proved power trios are like Fuel Altereds Like 8) Jim Sorenson says...they will still be around with the cockroaches a million years from now....
