I tried to get it off the page but all I ended up with was the big C with the circle around it...

Not yet, Jer...."supposed" to be going back over there next weekend and I am hoping for either a burnout pic or a launch pic to be the "main" focus and the laundry pic to be a secondary pic.........we'll see what happens.

Made a couple of "minor" changes to Peggy over the last weekend.......no longer is there the danger of me being tempted to energize the giggle juice, due to the fact that all related wiring, hoses , solenoids and bottle holder have been removed. The carb is sitting directly on the intake, with only a gasket (not a Wilson plate and a pair of gaskets) between the two.
I DO have a trick up my sleeve for a contraption to be added to the mix, but for now...I'll let yoose guys scratch yer heads and wonder "wazzup-wi-dat"

Hi Gang....Sorry I ain't been in here for a while.....but here is an overview of last weekend's fun and festivities.......
Dateline: Saturday Oct. 26, Nostalgia Fest, at South Georgia Motorsports Park, Cecil Ga...........
12:45 pm,
I pulled into the left lane and did a good ol smokey burnout, then eased into the beams, but my newly relocated tranny brake button proved to be slipper than I had anticipated and my gloved finger slipped off before the tree activated...thus....No time.....(ooops!!)
3:51 pm,
This time I was paying closer attention to my finger placement while I was in the right lane (I probably flinched to get the following reaction, but it was a good one anyway) I left the line with a .014 light, and closed the first 60 feet in 1.238 seconds.....and continued to streak to the finish line with a 5.806 @ 116.56 mph.
I decided not to make the 3rd qualifying run for the evening, but they offered to let folks make a time trial that would not effect qualifying so I went out and made a 1/4 mile shot.......
7:38 pm, left lane
.136 r/t
1.240 60ft
3.744 330
5.831 1/8
118.47 mph
7.628 1000 ft
9.163 1/4
146.27 mph.......YES! I was quite pleased with that!
Sunday, Oct 27.....10:53 am.....left lane again
had some MORE "issues" with the tranny brake button and was accused of snoozing at the tree...
.712 r/t
1.238 60ft
3.717 330
5.802 1/8
115.53 mph........and I lifted at the mph cone!!!!!
Oh well, that was the last of the good news for the day, as I had more issues with my two step and shifter, and ended up leaving in high gear.....................sniff, sniff, whine......
A 6.30 e.t. on a 5.75 dial ain't gonna win too many rounds.......
Peggy is still in one piece, and I'm still pluggin along, so I guess it was a good weekend of raciin.....Yak soon!
