I thought you had found a 3/8 stroker? Now you need another one?

All I've got is a couple stock cranks of unknown origin. One came out of the last Donovan I bought, and the other came with the first one. I have know idea what they are other than they appear to be std/std. I suppose if a guy wanted to weld up a stroker they might be good cores.

I'll keep a lookout.

Picked up my crank yesterday - dang Mallory metal is expensive... - but at least it's balanced.

I think I'm actually close to having all the peices to put this together... nah - that can't be

Almost bath time... (for the block that is)

I ground on sleeves and ground on the block - I've got grindings - well, never mind where I've got grindings - this is a family show...

Pre-assembled things last weekend - checked rod to block clearance in all 8 holes, checked piston to head clearance, checked valve to piston clearance - everything checks out.

Got my new oil pump drive machined up - some welding required to finish that up.

I've just got to drill out the oil passages in the new cam bushings and machine a notch out of the new girdle to clear the starter motor. Then I think it's ready for a cleaning and assembly.
