Its an old school kinda place, RH.... .400 is a perfect light. If it was a bracket tree it is a .500 bulb.

A buddy of mine who races there regularly, said that the roll out there is crazy wide...according to him, my first couple of lights would have been in the 00's at almost any other track. PLUS, I have a bad habit of staging shallow, so my numbers 'may' be off a bit. :oops:

Minor news flash.....after a very rare harsh winter (for us) I finally decided to see if Peggy's battery's were up to snuff.....I let down the ramp door and propped open the side door of the trailer and nestled my skinny derrier into the "office" inside of Peggy. I could easily fall asleep in there...it's THAT comphy... I pulled my master cutoff handle to the "on" position and flipped on the fuel pump....a familiar, throaty whirrrr greeted my ears. A quick glance at the fuel pressure gauge assured me there was plenty of pressure and volume in the carb bowls. I flipped the fuel pump back off and pressed the starter button until the oil pressure gauge showed that the internal fluids were up to snuff...then I bumped the fuel pump switch again, just to make sure the bowls were full. Then I flipped the ignition switch on and hit the starter button one more time....after a few revolutions I eased down on the loud pedal and my ol' girl stomped and snorted to life......ahhhh what a beautiful noise. A quick glance at all the vitals and I flipped the ignition switch back off as well as the master cutoff. Peggy is ready for our next outing....whenever THAT may be. (No I did NOT whack the loud pedal on that cold engine [as much as God I wanted to :twisted: ]....all I did was give it enough go juice to keep it running....see....I CAN be a good boy from time to time :roll: )

My buddy Tim is wanting to rent our local track to make some smoke with his Camaro and wants me to take Peggy along.....I 'hope' to get a new converter installed before that time....we'll see.....hopefully I'll have something really interesting to report next time :wink:
