Well today wasnt stellar by any means but if murphys gone then
im ok with it...First qualifier(first pass) Car left AWESOME,but as soon as it started to make a good move and i shifted (found out later) the bracket that holds the nos wot switch came loose and rotated away from the carb and shut the nos off...man did it get slow in a hurry!!
A friend of mine from my old neighborhood joined us and took some pics (thats an understatement!) Heres the first launch and One awesome picture!

Next qualifier got worse...secondary vent tube decided to play volcano and erupted!! Dumb me tried to compensate and turn the pump on an d off to get the car to stage...ok idea until i forgot to turn the carb pump back on at launch!! Surged bad then popped..luckily all within a few feet and i let out...no injuries..

1st rd after playin with the carb even more everything went good and i was staged...lights came down and sometime between now and xmas i let the button go...Left good but not as good as the first pass..ran a 9.26@147..

Decided to make a test hit and changed a few things and picked up some 9.18 @ 148

Thinking the convertor maybe takin a dump..will investage later

Thanks to Prison City Choppers for the loan of the trailer and golf cart!!
