What's on the Jukebox?

Here's where we go to kick back after the races with our pals. Pour a tall one, punch a few buttons on the jukebox, and relax...

Charlie Ryan - Hot rod Lincoln "The original"

Had the honor of meeting him and his Hot Rod Lincoln at one of the Street Rod Nationals I attended.

One of my favorites Cat. :)
I played this off the spur of the moment last night with the Whiskey Saints at practice, and I found I do a good Eric Burdon. The only change I inserted into an otherwise note-for-note cover of the Animals original was for the last verse, I sang the words to "Amazing Grace" with the melody of "House of the Rising Sun". It worked. Cheers, WC1

PS: "Hot Rod Lincoln" is a classic. Hats off to the Commander and his boyz. I saw 'em play live on Saturday Night Live a few years back and they turned that TV studio into a smoky roadside dive real quick. Cat

That sounds like a Draglist Nationals kind of jam to me, Doc...although last year I barely touched Billy's guitar. Signed it, but didn't play anything to speak of...I was so thrilled to be there I couldn't hardly believe that I actually was there...Cheers, WC1
