Vic,
I'm digging the photos and updates also.
Looks like Riley's hair is getting darker as he gets older.

Thanks guys,..

Yes Riley is a growing almost teenager 11, hes getting really tall.

This is the part I love about doing this stuff you never know what you
will find,..you can add 3 more colors to list to make it 12 colors.

I am not positive, but this will probly be the only closest shot of a paint scheme that Jack Cambra had when he owened the vega in 1973
It was a almost minty light blue with silver seperated by a black pinstripe
atleast on the back of the car.
The tail lights were never masked off and every paint job was applied
one on top of another,..theres a little work to be done on them as
you can see,..the tail lights on the right I have all the extra paint off
except the original paint from the veney days.

Thanks ,..major excavating going into this dig,..lol

Man are my finger tips gone, I will post some pics tomorrow
Way too much wet sanding to get to original paint.

that black is not fiberglass ,..thats black primer, then Blue,
then Silver, Then blue, then White, then Primer, Then RED
Yes theres red on the whole back of car just like my finger tips,.

.....ouchy wow wa... :x

Well I gave it my best shot at saving the original red paint. You can see a bit of black here & there, let me assure you it was from prior prep painters sanding considering it went from grey primer to black fiberglass with no red inbetween,..so anyways my fingers are better, I found a pair of Nytrile or Nitrate (SP) or what ever they are called.
That is the original silver with the clear coat still on the bumber, the taillights I will try a couple of ideas I have.
I still have not touched the paint with any electric or air tools,
this is all by hand, WHY,....
I guess I dont want to leave any unexplored archelogical findings left in the dark,...bwaahhhhhhhhh

Best I can tell,..the car was red, Veney,. then it is white, then blue
and then all them other colors ontop,..the picture above is obviously not of Jack Cambras paint scheme,
I am assuming when Jack got it they painted the car white, or the white was the base coat for the Blue ????

blah blah blah,...l.heres a picture........ 8)
