Decided to play diver last night and dropped the pan on the Donovan. I cleaned out the new engine sludge - there wasn't too much - and checked a few bearings. The new oil pump is definately doing its job - the bearings look like new - just starting to shine up in a few places and they mic out to new thickness.
I've got to pull the rocker stands apart and lock-tite a couple intake rocker bearings that keep wanting to escape, then I think it's ready to go again.
The club is having a get-together thing over at Quaker tomorrow so I'll probably run over and make a few hits. The motor's still way fat, so it'll give me a chance to do some tuning and testing. Right now I'm debating whether to take fuel away or to speed up the blower and add a little fuel. I'm really tempted to speed up the blower - we'll see what mood strikes me in the morning...
