Thanks guys,..its more work than id like to be performing with
only a razor blade, metal spatula, and a block sander,..Bwahhahaha

some more updates obviously, and gettin really really close to
painting this thing red,....

Front end, rear end Steering, and motorplate got put back together last
week so I could get the body back on it and double check my body work
and also so the body can go to the painters shop.

Finished laminating in some divincell in front of the roof hatch
where there was a big sag all better now,..got the roof hatch in and is done and in primer,..

Spent yesterday and today finishing up the door seems that were sanded
away back in the 80`s by who ever did the vinyl wrap,.had to get creative
and recut into the body and look at lots of pictures closly and retrace little remnents of the old door seems to get it right,..but it turned out good.

Like I said I had to get creative,.... :shock:

So I have a couple more ares to primer and block out a little more
and I think shes ready for paint,..then I will move on to making a lexan
dog house for the injection stacks.

I am still looking for someone to letter the car and paint the grille, lights,
bumpers, and logos, and I will be back out at the tracks soon,.I hope.

Nice work Vic, it is a ton of effort, but when it is sitting there all shiney and nice,,,,it is all worth it. 8)

Alrighty then,... :roll: ..Car is basically ready for paint
when will it get painted,..uhmmm,..when I can find someone
to do the lettering after the pigment goes on and before the clear.

So took advantage of the situation and worked on the body tin,..
as you all have probly heard before someone in the past painted
evrything that was chromed, or polished,..BLACK...well that aint how
this car is sappose to look,..so got the ol rattle can paint stripper out
and got busy wit it,.... :shock:

Well thats how it looked after the paint was all removed,..DULLLLLLLLL
So you know me,..all the time in the world, and my fascination to make the car look like it did back in 1972,..So 3.5 hours later with the help
of my Mothers, and 3 trerry towels,..... 8)
