Today, up early to make a big push to gettin' the honey dew project done. Decided to get breakfast from the clown store. I hit the starter on the truck and nothin'.

So, I turn the lights on & try again. no dim, so it must be the starter. I slid under the truck as far as I could and tap the starter with a channel-lock. Try again and got 1 click before it went dead again. (Sure glad this didn't happen in the Menard's parking lot last night, I think to myself). Then, I reach in front of the starter and a solenoid wire seems loose. I try everything available to get it re-tightened but still nothin'. {Can't get much of a grip on the thing} Now it's time to get serious, I'm burnin' weekend time here. I jacked up the front end and set a couple stands under it and proceeded to remove the starter. Once it dropped down, I put the wrench on the solenoid to remove the wires I figured, aw why not, I'll tighten them up a little & put it back in for one more attempt, before I take it way out. It hasn't shown even a hint of goin' bad til this mornin', so maybe it's a loose wire still. Got everything tight, bolted the starter back in place and said to myself, if it still don't start I'll get the keys for Jeff's old Camaro & run to the parts store. Well, much to my delight it fired up. Off to the clown store and then onto the honey do stuff.

Clown food iz' gone & now it's 10am.
