Nick's band, Blastula, has a myspace.com site they started. They will be playing at Fitzgerald's later this month. Kyle designed their logo. They're all 15 and they're a Death-Metal band of the highest power. I'm getting to where I know their songs, ya know. They practise here in the garage.
I couldn't get the video to work on my Mac, maybe it'll go on a PC better. Cheers, WC1

I dropped in to check it out but also got an error message when clicking the video button... i did add to friends so give Nick a heads up that it is me

and not a 50 year old country goof trying to infiltrate his site... that is a wild looking logo !!

Very cool, Doc! Thanks! They're working on getting the videos and pics in order...Nick can play 'em fine on the PC here, but I get a no-go every time I try it over here on the Mac. They'll get it worked out. Cheers, WC1

Thanks...Jim Shortt took the picture..."Shorttsy". What amazes me about it is that NICK came out GREAT in it...most pictures of bands, the drummer either has a cymbal covering up his face or somebody in the band is in front of him and you end up not being able to see the drummer...we got invited to play a prestige, high-profile gig, August 26th at Katie's in Bacliff, it's a benefit for Milford Spivey, a local musician whose wife died suddenly last month. We were put in an elite group of bands...it's much to Shorttsy's credit that this invitation was extended to include us but he is a fan of this band, always has been and always will be...he has never backed off of me about keeping this band going. Anyway, we're going to rehearse this time and work up a killer set. We HAVE to. The bands we're going to be on that bill with are the best bands in the region. We sure don't want to go up there and suck. Rehearsals are in order. Cheers, WC1
