Thanks everybody. I still have to make the plates that go in the door & door post. Just got nuts & washers on there now. Gotta' make square holes out of the holes I drilled so the doors/hinges have some adjustin' room. Then I gotta align the quarter panel & get a mount made for the "bear Claw" door latch.
I just had to try it to see if the door opened str8.

There's a genII camaro that I've seen go though the tech lane a couple times that has home grown hinges on it. When they open the door it swings downhill purdy' bad & they gotta' lift it up to latch it when they close it.   I wanted to make sure that wasn't gonna' happen here. Bottom hinge has to be about 1/4'' smaller on the "Z" to make it open like the OEM units. That would have been a bummer after all the hours I have in those deals if the doors woulda' been knuckle draggers.   or opened uphill.

Thanks everybody.

Got sidetracked today, work related..........
I started a job on the CNC today & I thought I'd show you the "intended" use for the router. (doesn't always make car parts) These are 4 slabs of oak sliced from a tree at the local saw mill for a customer of mine. they are about 4" thick and when stacked on top of each other the sign will be about 8 1/2' wide x 5' tall & will be 2 sided. The customer is an oak flooring installer. Purdy' much a 2 man job to load each slab. Each letter is set up to get 4 passes @ about an 1/8" deeper each pass so the edges of the letters don't blow out.
