Another fun day with a disappointing ending - but we all had fun, that's what counts right?

It was a fun event, a lot of spectators and lots of cars. The Great Lakes Nostalgia funny cars put on a great show. Unfortunately they had the segregated from us commoners over on the other side of the race track so I didn't get a chance to go over and say hi to Rock.

The car ran well and was consistent. It ran an 8.56 and an 8.54 in the 2 time trials. That gave me an 8.44 index for the night. First round my opponent turned on the red, I saw it but decided to run the car out to see what it was going to do - 8.53. Second round didn't come until after 11:00 and after sitting around waiting for 3 hours my concentration wasn't what it should have been - it was my turn to light the red bulb

Next outing will probably be next weekend at Quaker again - the club has some sort of happening.

Having fun and nothing broke at the end of the evening, Thats a win!!! :D

Spent my 4th working on the 540cc cart for a friend. He a older fellow, decided to get out of racing and sold his car. He can't stand not racing on the weekends. He's all fired up about taking the cart to a race July 18th in KY.
