Well thank you very much Lippy.

Got it close enough for primer. Time to mount it so I can locate the steering column & install gages. What does everybody run for gages? This is going to be a pro street. Even though it will be limited I still plan to make it street legal sorta'. So I'll need the usual Tack (shift Light), Speedometer, Gas, Oil(electric no oil lines in car), Battery, Temp. Anything else? My guess is anything else can be checked on a data recorder when racing? Maybe trans. temp would be handy??

BTW: Notice I got the windshield wiper sockets back in. I flipped them upside down so the linkage will clear the intercooler duct. Now I just need to find a small simple wiper motor to operate it. Maybe there's such an animal for street rods?

Your talent and skill continue to astound me, ProZ.
That car is so fine it just shines and it's still in progress...I did a search and found these results for a wiper motor...your choice as to which link you'll go with...outstanding work on this car, man. Cheers, WC1

That is gonna be a nice car! Thats the fun of building your own car, the satisfaction of making stuff work that never should have, like the wiper linkage deal. Good job Gary!! I like that you are taking the time to do it right, a car can be fast, pretty and functional, it just takes dedication, time and cash. But with ingenuity, less cash than one would think. Great seeing this thing coming together! Lippy :D

Thanks WC & Lippy. That means a lot coming from you guys. Your right Lippy, I enjoy going out to the shop and building the "Z". Don't have to follow directions, just build it however, there is no right or wrong, as long as it works when your done.
I'll look into a couple of those links WC, Thanks.

Got the gauges picked out I think. Today I downloaded the ones I want off the net, sized em' to the specs on the site & printed the faces out on the printer. Then I cut some PVC gauge housings on the CNC. They are a little deeper than the actual gauges but that'll insure I have ample room for the real deals down the road. Now I can make a bezel. That outta' keep me busy for awhile.
