i know a thing or two about a toggle switch throttle, had many a motor poop cast iron while using one, so far the 406 in the ojc is holding up well, it has a tsw also for those not already in the know.

today at work during lunch i managed to wire the alternator in the ojc, and redid a fuel line that i didn't like, when i got home i put the 283v2.1 ( the version 2.1 is really a dividing factor that when used with 12000 rpm it makes it 5714.28(much more realistic for this engine) rpm to keep rapid " i'll beat you with a crow bar" randy baker happy) on the engine stand.first rattle out of the bucket i got blasted but good in the forearm by one of the red wasps that have taken up residence(with out paying rent, bet they were eatin spam in there too) in the right exuast manifold and did the wo wo wo wo crap!!!dance that i do when i get harpooned by a wasper's butt. i'm tearing this engine down in the garage because the shop is still full of 66 chevelle. the garage that the wife just cleaned, but she probably won't yell at me too much becuase this is her car after all. i took off the intake, and valve covers and took a good look (and smell)around, i then removed all the bolts from the right head and inserted a large prybar into one of the intake runners ( #4 to be exact) and pulled. i guess gravity must be multiplied by it's own square root and squared to boot when a cylinder head is falling at your foot at about 900,000mph, luckily i got my foot out of the way and then realized that the "store it upside down while it's full of oil to keep the cylinders from rusting"technique i tried this one time works...................fills the cylinders up with oil and pukes it all over your feet, but hey, the cylinders aren't rusty are they? then (being the sooper jeanyus that i am) i ( for a reason not even known to me ) decided to tilt the engine so that the deck is level ( i think it was to make scrubbing the top of one piston easier) without thinking that the other head is still on and since i couldn't find the engine stand handle right away i was using a screwdriver........................zooooooooooooom did that sucker ever turn over, so then i had to quit for a while and go find the handle i needed in the first place since i just ruined one of my screwdrivers trying to turn 2/3 of and engine back upright. tomorrow i'll take off the oil pan and see what sizes the bearings are, i just plan on overhauling this engine as it ran fine when i bought it from a customer of mine, if i live through it, more tomorrow!!!!

Lets just call it "LITTLE Z" that way I don't think about it being a 283 or a 2.1 4-banger!!!

That will keep Ol' Hillbilly from the crowbar beatings!!!
