Pee Wee just sent me a link to Jack Clifford's photos from yesterday's picnic. Cheers, WC1

Uh...I see a Vette at the bottom left of page 6...page 8 is as far as this album goes...are we looking at the same album, Wheelz? I'll check Jack's smugmug page out...Cheers, WC1

Oh, are you talking about the Hawkins & Bunch CC/GS coupe? I do believe you're right, I think that is an old Stude...blown 283 Chevy engine, they fired it up, too and it sounded beautiful...

What hemi are we looking at? The one in the blue pickup rod is a Ford hemi, the one in the purple chopped and channelled coupe might be a DeSoto...

Hmmm...what happens is that the window isn't the same size on our computers, so yours shows 19 pages and mine shows 8...
What are the picture numbers? Cheers, WC1

That is a very interesting car...it's a '62 Daimler SP 250, a "Coventry Corvette". The engine is a Daimler 153-inch hemi with twin SU carburetors...140 hp...120mph...here's what I found on this car. Good eye, Wheelz...I had completely overlooked this rare car.

Yeah, it had a bad rep there for a while, didn't it...needed some testing that it must not have gotten before they started selling them? I guess they had a different safety deal over there back then? Hmmm...
