Trust me Randy, it's coming bud, maybe in March. In fact maybe more than 220.  8) 8) You won't need air launched chutes, but you may need an extra pair of clean undies.   I love the smell of nitro in the morning. And at noon, and in the evening!!!

Gary I was lifted once by my Dad, by my ear. He grabbed my ear one day and picked me up, when he released me, I puffed up in the chest and said...If you do that again.........my ear will really be sore  He was 6'6 and 300lbs. No fat on him either. P.s., I wasn;t sitting when he picked me up either.

Randy....reading about the placement and positioning of different things in the new car are fascinating as hell to me.....and in some respects.....it almost seems like you were watching Me putting my car together.
Locating things where they are comfortable and convenient for YOU is what it's all about............What works for one driver may or may not work for you......take all suggestions with a grain of salt.......mock things up in a suggested manner...and test them out.....a slight tweak here and there will have you nice and cozy in there........Keep us posted on progress!!! 8) 8) 8)

Last night I sanded the deck panel. Tomorrow night I will polish it at the raceshop while we fit some more stuff.

After reading the last 4 pages, I am finally caught up.
Randy is fitting everything on the car so he can be comfortable in it.
But, what if he eats too much cake and can't get in his fire suit? LOL
Does he like Casey's cake donuts too?
Just thoughts of an old idle mind.
Everything is looking cool on the new car though.

Well actually since last Spring, it has been going the other direction Al. We put a new steel can in the 23T car and I dropped the weight to make up for the 30-lbs heavier the car would be.

Now this new car is a bit smaller inside, so I have incentive again to keep going! 8)

Al!!!!! SHHHHHH,.....I'm trying to get ole Rapid to eat as much cake, cookies and brownies as possible in hopes that he will become too big to fit in the car.

I noticed that over at the CFC board, Virgil's crew is talking about waffles, chocolate waffles and pie for Rapid. I am encouraging Randy to take full advantage of these things.

I'm not sure if you are aware, but Scott has had my driving resume on file for a while now, and if Rapid get big enough, I may have a shot at his job!!

Please keep this under your hat as I don't want Randy to know what I'm up to!   8)

Well it was another late night at the race shop. I got done with the rear deck panel and put it back on the car.

Here is a shot after I had some fiberglass holding the sections together.
