Howdy all,...I havenet been keeping up much here on Draglist .com, I have been working on my next move
and trying to plan it out accourdinly, so as to not put myself in an embarasing situation such as I am feeling with all the contribution
and support I get from each and everyone of you here. I have contiplated this move for awhile and my goal has always been to make
forward progress to succeed in my dreams of driving and owning a aa/fc before I am 50 and such, so with some of the rumours you might have
heard about,.YES the Veneys Vega is for sale,..it is a tough discision but like I said I need to make forward progress,..I should be able to pour
the concreate for my 40x60 shop and finish it,..purchase and retrieve the 1976 Veneys Vega,..and still be able to buy a chassis and body that I create into
my own doings and name and race it hard without worrying about any distruction of a car with history,..so anyways thats whats going on,.maybe someone is shadow watching my car for sale that has the right amount,..and maybe no one does and the economy is not right,..who knows we americans work in mysterous ways,...lol.....but for the benifit of the daught,..it probly will most likly stay in my possesion and I will be running it in 2010.

I understand all that you said, Vic, and I completely agree with all of it...plus, the car is finished now, and it was done right...the person who buys it will be getting the true original restored Veney's Vega in absolutely pristine condition and it will no doubt remain that way forever thanks to you. I wonder if NHRA might consider buying it...it sure would be a good investment for whoever goes for it. Best of luck with your next project! I look forward to watching it unfold like this one did! I am also having the exact and correct exhaust headers made up here shortly, to help with the recognition
of the tearm originality, This car would just be missing the clutch turbo 400 to complete it 100%.

So Round 1 has come and gone on ebay,..... 4,131 views, 133 watchers, and zero bids at $35,000
Its pretty much how I knew it would be,..2nd round starts tonight with a starting bid of $45,000.....

So anyways The car will not sell especially this winter so I have made a schedule for the begining of the 2010 season
starting with,...

January 23rd,..Albany Oregon,.the Winter Rod & Speed Benifit car show

Febuary 11-14 Pomona Ca,..50th Anniversary Winter Nationals as part of the Static Display and Live fire up Invites being arranged by Steve Gibbs.
There will be over 70 Nostalgia top fuel front engine dragsters, Funny Cars, Gassers, Stockers, and A/fx cars on hand for this years Winter Nats 50th,..with 8 Nostalgia Tribute AA/FC Floppers making an exhibition run or two (time permitting)

March 5-7 Bakersfield Ca,..March Meet,..entered in as a NE1 7.60 car,...(goodluck) I need 3.8 tenths

There are a few more TENATIVE dates the Veneys Vega and I will be appearing and I will post up as they are confirmed.

Hope to see one and all of you at some point this 2010 seasson oneway or another,...
