I have the video of the original Playhouse 90 version of Rod Serling's "Requiem For A Heavyweight", with Jack playing the aging boxer, Mountain McClintock. Keenan Wynne played his corrupt manager, Maisch, and Ed Wynne played his trainer...I think it's Janet Leigh that played the schoolteacher that helped him find a new life as a PE instructor after his career as a boxer had ended in disgrace. It is a moving and powerful story, acted live on TV, and thankfully preserved through a kinescope. They also have a part after it's over where they all talk about the play and how they did it...Keenan Wynne offered some very touching points about his dad, Ed, the one that really hit hard was that he had to read Ed's parts to him before rehearsal and help him memorize them, as Ed Wynne was illiterate. Jack Palance played the best Dracula I ever saw, too. He made Dracula more powerful and sex-crazed than even Bela Lugosi did...his death scene in that movie was one of the scariest I've seen as well...RIP, Jack, wish you were still around to make such great art for us.
