NEED PHOTOS OF UNCLE "GEORGE" AA/FA '62 VETTE

Postby KennyDently » Thu Feb 08, 2007 7:31 am

I`m posting this for my friend Bill Schaible-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm currently looking for pictures of my cousin's husband's 1962 AA/Fuel Altered "Uncle George" Corvette. It ran at Island Dragway and Raceway Park (Englishtown) in the late 60's/early 70's. If you have any pictures (especially color) they would be greatly appreciated. George still has the car and is planning to restore it in the near future. Hopefully it'll be ready to show by the FCR this summer. Here's the only known picture of the car. Please click on photo for larger image. Thanks for your help

Wow, its been years sine I heard reference to the car. A rare one indeed! I hope the renovation project is succesful. Reminds me of Richard Days "Screamer" Vette. A So-Cal based gas burning car of similar style and proportions
