trying to switch from race gas to e85. anybody else got any jetting ideas that's done the switch. we actualy are running hotter. so i presume were on the lean side. the exaust is almost equal at 1190 degrees. but the water temp is right at 220 going out the back door. any ideas would be apreciated. thanks gary b

Since you run darn near twice as much fuel through an alchohol motor as a comparable gas motor, I would think that you would need more e85 due to the percentage of ethanol in it.
I've never run water, so I've always gone strictly by exhaust temp to tune things. Based on that you're probably not too far off. It must be hotter for a longer period of time, which would heat the water up more. Maybe the gas peaked around there, but the heat curve wasn't as flat so you didn't see it in the water as much.
-just some thoughts...
