Chris Raynor from CA passed away on July 2, 2007 at the age of 60. Chris and partner Jim " The Lizard " Herbert raced Top Fuel cars during the 60's and 70's. Chris also assisted NHRA VP Graham Light and Gary Beck along with helping his good friend Gary Ormsby during his championship years. God speed my friend and thank you for your contributions.

RIP, Chris. I've heard the name for years but never really knew of all his contributions. Another great behind the scenes guy who kept the sport going. bp
