Awesome!!! I moved this post from the Good Morning thread. Royz deserves his OWN Team Draglist page to keep us up to date on his ride! bp

Hi guys
wow this is way cool thank you
perhaps a little about me is in order its ok if you zzzzzzzzzzzz
57 yes that young but hey its just a measurement of time
came to the good ole U.S.A. in march 1998 have loved every minute :)
my work has always been in Quality Assurance so measure twice and cut once is good right
always had a passion for drag racing though for me it was bikes back in the UK at Santa Pod http://www.santapod.co.uk/ did ok really considering I had a true street bike 10.05@142 came 12th in national competition out of 350+ bikes ride was a Suzuki Katana 1000s http://www.katanacentral.co.uk/history/ ... meline.asp with a Weisco 1260 kit and nitrous no wheelie bars made for some good views of the upper atmosphere on the back wheel,
married an American gal and tried to make that work but I guess the cultures only share a language and then there are differences oh well
have mostly worked for Aerospace and Bio tech companies enjoyed that work very much especially building and testing windshear radar ,and medical devices to help try and give a better quality of life
now work for an ariel work platform company in Redmond its cool stuff and I get to use my camera a lot creating S.O.P.s and graphical documents, other interests include target shooting, building my own English long bows and guitar which I dont practice very often now the car is getting there,
my goals for the Nova are low 10s with the 383 and blower and then perhaps step up to a large small block and alcohol with the blower and see where that leads .
I really enjoy this site and hope that my dumb questions dont send you all over the edge .
So Thanks again
Royz

Decided on an early finish feeling pretty bushed
6 hours :? of trying to get aftermarket panels and GM sheetmetal to line up and look somewhat neat means I have one side of my tilt front end cut and lined up with the bulkhead and drivers door glad I took my time though as it looks good and I think the other side will go quicker.
getting the glass front end on was a piece of cake but no way did the doors also glass want to line up then of course when they were ok the whole lot did not meet the wiper cowl at base of windscreen so much slotting ,washers and careful sanding means I took much longer than the pros probably would oh well time for a shower and some chilled hops :) :)

Fascinating bio and a productive Sunday by anyone's standards, Royz! I stayed home today, mostly inside. It was 100 degrees outside with high humidity. Very interesting project you have there. Good luck with the other side, I'm sure it will look and work great! With what you're putting into it, it should hit the numbers you are shooting for and then some. Cheers, WC1
