Is a sideways mounted camshaft inherently stronger than a length wise mounted camshaft, given they are the same length?

I think it depends on if you make more left turns that right turns.

Oh ..........then yer' jus' fine. It's when ya' try to turn that it gives ya' fitz'. You know..........like tryin' to change the direction of a spinnin' top. It just ain't natural to change the direction of a spinnin' top.
