This post is connected to my search for information on my 69 Biscayne L72 M22 car. It has now been verified that the owner of the car was Dick Ross of Michigan. He held over 30 national NHRA records in the 70's with his 69 Nova. The Biscayne was also campaigned at tracks like Lapeer, Ubly , Tri City and Detroit Dragway. Has anyone got any memories of the car or racing with Dick Ross? Thanks, Marc

I have just learned that my car was campaigned under the name "Hurricane" which was lettered on the rear quarters. "Dick Ross" was lettered on each door. Does this name ring any bells for anyone? Thanks, Marc

Mark was that a light or dark color I'll try and find out where Dick moved to I think he is still in town. Try michiganwaterwinterwonderland.com and click on auto racing or drag racing you might find a picture of it the site has some pic's from all the old strips. By the way I think he still has the Nova.

Larry, we have located Dick Ross and hope to get some more info soon. Thanks for your help. Burnished brown is a very dark shade of brown. Still hoping to find someone who might have run against this car back when. Best Regards, Marc
