I was supposed to go to church first thing Saturday morning to help set up the props for Easter morning'.
This morning I got a call that we won't be starting until Noon.
I don't have any details but there was a 4 year old little girl that apparently came down with a combination of strep & pneumonia and there were complications and she passed away. Funeral is Saturday morning. The mother is so distraught she has been hospitalized. Prayers are needed. I can't even begin to imagine what she must be going through.

It is the saddest news of its kind when an innocent child dies. God Bless her family and you for letting us know. I feel their pain, and I pray for the well-being and safety of everyone. My son Kyle had a similar episode when he was 17, but thank God he survived. (Morebetter99 called me when I was at Kyle's bedside in the hospital...thank you, Pete.) WC1

This is so sad.A parent is not suppose to outlive their children.I can only imagine what it is like to live through. In 1961 I was 14 ,my older sister died at 17.My Mother has never got over that lost. Can you think how hard it must have been,to deal with that, and to raise a teenage boy?I had no idea how to cope,so my behavier must have been awful

You're a fine man, Boyd. Your parents raised you good. I know from our dialogue at DLNI that we have had very similar and at times unhappy lives, but it would be hard for me to remember meeting a finer gentleman than yourself (with respects to all of you...we're the same family in my book). It must have been difficult to say the least in your household during those years, but I know in my heart that your parents are proud of you and always were. WC1

I've learned that she was a very premature baby and has had health problems for all her short life. Still doesn't make it any easier for the family.

A new little angel for Easter. There was a little girl in my kids' elementary school that had several severe problems, but she was the sweetest little thing you could imagine. She wasn't expected to last for long, but Denise saw her the other day and she is still getting along, although she still has severe issues. What a blessing she is as are all the children. bp
