Draglist.com Drag Racing

There will also be a reunion for the Des Moines Dragway folks on the same day as the Draglist Nationals. The Des Moines track closed in 1967 after an 11 year run and the get together for this group at Eddyville will include a presentation by my friend Larry Latham who has been working on that tracks history for several years. Also some cars that ran at Des Moines will be on display, some of the track officials, some racers and some old guy named Al running back and forth wearing a draglist shirt and then a Remember The Des Moines Dragway tee. I spectated all 11 years the track was open.
If Mother Nature is kind should be a great time.
Oh and there will be some 5 special nostalgia classes that day, so bring out the old iron if you have some.
