Another tough loss in a hard, hard year. Paul was the ultimate independent pro stock runner with a lot of success in the sportsman ranks before that. He was the number two Chevy in the land when the top Chevy in the land was Grumpy Jenkins. Paul fought the good fight against the emerging dominance of the Cleveland headed Fords in the mid 70s. I never new him but I always really, really liked him. The story of his Indy weekend one year really affected me and helped to ensure my love of pro stock. Farewell, Paul. bp

One of the great little guy racers of all time.
I can't tell you how many passes I've seen that wagon make down the Aquasco,Atco and 75-80 tracks during the old modified wars. Those guys up North loved the big shows at Aquasco and carried a lot of cash back to Jersey and Pa.
Way too young.
