So, today I stacked everything I could on top of the car & scaled it. On top of the car is the not yet installed b-r-a-k-e parts, ice box & pump for the intercooler, almost everything for the steering, crank trigger, glass windshield (which it will keep) and glass rear window (that will be lexan). Fiberglass doors have hinges & latches only @ this point. It's got the complete rear end (less fluid), complete trans (Less fluid & converter) Empty iron block, Empty iron heads (They will be aluminum).
As it sets it's up to 1947 already. If I add me & the fiberglass front end it tips the scales @ 2215.

Still needs engine internals, f2 pro charger, interior, firewall, fluids, fuel cell, battery, assorted belts, hoses, wiring and various brackets.

My hope was to keep it under 3,000 lbs. Do you think that's still a realistic goal? It's most likely going to be a bracket car, so weight isn't of primary concern but .......... :?: :?:

Sounds reasonable.

That's a good question. I think I'll check into that this week.
