Jeff & I made the trip to the Nats @ Rt. 66 yesterday. Purdy' good racing despite the windy conditions.

I knew better, but I took this pic. Ann E. Way. :oops: :oops: Right @ the W-A-pppp. I might have chipped a tooth. :shock: :shock:

Thanks Bob. I didn't chip a tooth after all. Just felt like it. I knew the Nitro W-A-Ppppp was comin' but I just HAD to get a close up shot. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I think it tickled me ear drums too. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I was upwind (& it was a strong wind) but I still got a good dose.

Skies looked bad most of the day, but we never got a drop. At least not Friday.

WC, it's a nice facility for sure. The only downside is the walk back to the car is a loooong one. I guess it can't be any other way with a huge facility. Here's the tower end from near the end of the south grand stands.

Couple more you might find interesting WC.
First is the staging lanes side of the tower.

This is the retention pond that's just west of the tower/staging lanes. The end of the day was the best part of the day weather wise.
