I guess I should pop in here more often. Joan, his wife is doing well. She sold the business. The guy who bought it is running it until he gets all the merchandise sold off. Then he hopes to sell the bldg and property.
We still wear our Laverty Performance Center shirts, and have Larry's name on the car. He was a great friend and I, like Gator, miss him alot.

I knew Larry for 45 years. He lived in the same town as I, about a block and a half from me. Spent many a Fourth of July and New Years Eve's partying in his basement. Also attended the World Series at Cordova a bunch of times with him and his family. Joan has the house for sale now, as it is too big for just her. Bob Betzer who bought Larry's shop, building and inventory knew Larry far more years than I. One of the reasons we moved to this town was Larry and Bob were friends.
R.I.P. Larry

I didn't know Larry either, but judging from the caliber of people who remember him fondly, he must have been one hell of a guy. bp
