Phil Hill passed away this morning after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Phil was the first American to win the Formula One Drivers Championship. Phil is one of the classiest people to ever race. May you rest in peace my friend, and thank you for your contributions.

Phil was the MAN among U.S. road racers.I don't think there will ever be any American driver like him, considering his accomplishments.
Later in life he owned and operated a antique auto restoration buisness, I learned from a freind whom worked for him. Phil was a very down to earth man and one of the guys.
R.I.P. Mr. Hill.
My Condolencies.
