Passed this morning in Nashville after a recent stroke.Great country entertainer and songwriter.He masterfully used lyrics that told stories the common man could relate to.

One of the greatest country singers of all time. Got a late start and just never got the recognition he deserved.

first i heard about it....... jeeez i liked him.... used to do one of his songs at country kareokee night called Do You Believe Me Now........
