I don't want to load this forum up with separate posts for the info I'm desperately seeking,so I'll try to include in here with the 1965 stuff.I'm looking for info on a Chevy II that Bob Balderson was running in 1965.Car was out of Montross,VA,had "Matchbox 396" and "Robert Murphy,Inc." written on it.I'm looking for a photo, and was wondering if this was a gas/carbs type car,or injected, possibly fuel car in 1965.Here is a shot of a different Balderson car,not sure if this is 64 or 65.Thanks for looking. Dennis both pictured Novas are actually a 1962 nova,...
easiest way to determine 62 thru 65 is the grilles, also the 62 chevy ornament on the hood was short like on the white nova
1962,...3 verticle bars with one main horizonal and several smaller horizonal
'1963,.. grill is easily recognized with only horizontal bars.
1964,... resembled a checkerboard pattern, with 9 verticle bars seperated by 5 horizonal bars.
In 1965, a distinguishing headlight assembly. This is the only year this syle of headlight would be used. The light bezel consists merely of a chrome circle and a small eyebrow strip. The grill is much like the '64, but spaced out a bit more and with a new emblem adorning its center.
