OK,some of you guys have read my posts over the last couple seasons about my travels with the Woodard Racing Outlaw T/S Cavalier(x-montecalvo p/s).Well....the Cavalier has been sold and is now going 7.80s with the single carb gas burning s/b chev and powerglide from my buddy Mikes 66 Nova. The old faithful 714 Musi that pushed us to 6.60s at 212 in IHRA legal T/S trim has also been sold. We're now going Pro-mod racing.Wayne purchased a new 113wb double rail 68 Camaro bodied car from GPS race cars in Tn. and last week the deal was sealed with Pat Musi and parties involved we took delivery of a 5.0 bore space 740in electronic injected 4 stage Musi bullet. The car will continue to run a glide as did the Cavalier and we expect to participate in some of the North East Outlaw P/M assoc events in 2010. With some technical help from Musi we are really looking forward to stepping up the program and feel that 6.20s with the combo and a moderate tune are realistic. Car just came back from a little chassis spiff at Jeff Millers shop here in Va. and this week the new motor plate was recieved and the 740 dropped in for a test fit. Tranny is off to the Rogers shop for a freshen. I'll keep progress over the winter posted here and we're hoping for a late March/early April debut.

Got the motor trans d-shaft set in chassis and fitted.Everything in the office adjusted to drivers specs.Re-wire for new dash and computer system now on the agenda. Also change access to batt so a little body mod in the future.
Hoping to get car to paint by end of Jan-early Feb.

Will try and get a pic or two up after next week.
